All design and construction decisions, as well as general company business decisions, are made with consideration for their environmental consequences.

As a result of this environmental focus, Earth Bound Homes builds and remodels the greenest homes in California. Our model home, pictured above and located in Santa Clara, has just been rated the Greenest Home in California by Build It Green's - Green Point Rated green home rating system. The house achieved a rating score of 304 points, almost double the score of the next closest house, currently 161 points. We believe that "green building" starts with intelligent design and through a process the includes rigorous value engineering, deliberate and informed materials selections and careful and diligent construction, it ends with a home that is not only beautiful and functional, but also healthier and more socially and environmentally responsible than normal construction. By being more durable, less toxic, more space efficient, and of course, significantly more resource and energy efficient our homes are much cheaper to live in and to maintain all the while being cost competitive to build. Together, these characteristics allow our clients to spend more time living in and enjoying their homes and less time working on or for their homes.
