Marinshaw Residence

This is a small 100 sq. ft. addition to a ranch style home for the purpose of enlarging the original, small and very outdated galley kitchen and dining room into a modern and functional kitchen for a 5 person family. Additionally, the addition adds square footage to the dining room and removal of walls and a dropped ceiling connects the once separated kitchen to the rest of the common family areas. Designed by the homeowner, this remodel transformed the dark interior of the kitchen and family room area of the house into a welcoming greatroom with ample places for the kids to sit at the bar or do their homework at the expanded dining room table.
