Through careful collaboration with the homeowners, the home scored a 160 pts on a Green Point Rated checklist. Extensive use of Optimal Value Engineering(OVE) such as insulated headers, drywall clips and FSC certified framing lumber, means the home is made of 22% less wood than a comparably sized. conventionally built home. Closed cell polyurethane foam insulation makes the home incredibly efficient. In fact, utility bills are the same as in the original home, which was 60% smaller.
