At Earth Bound Homes, we want to change the way houses are built.  We regularly educate our fellow contractors, homeowners and architects on the benefits and techniques of green building. We realize that in order for green building to have a significant impact, it must be as widely adopted as possible.

In addition to making all design and construction decisions with consideration for their environmental consequences, at Earth Bound Homes, we also make general company business decisions based on their “green characteristics”.

Here are some of the ways as a business, we save money and the environment:

• Plan ahead to make as few trips as possible for materials and supplies.
• Decrease timber harvest by printing only when required.
• Print on both sides of the paper.
•  Select only 100% recycled paper- for printing, plans, toilet, billing, etc.
• Do not send junk mail
• When possible, telecommute for meetings or office/paperwork.
