The goal of Earth Bound Construction is to decrease the severity of a home's impact on the natural environment through deliberated design and careful execution of a building plan designed around increased energy efficiency, decreased usage of virgin materials and increased usage of recycled, renewable, long lived or more efficient building materials.

As a full service design/build firm, we are dedicated to building green. We encourage open inviting homes that fit our client's lifestyles while still respecting the environment. Where possible, we incorporate all aspects of green building into our designs, from passive solar heating and underground rainwater collection for irrigation to recycling lumber and increasing energy efficiency.

This is achieved through proper engineering and use of green building materials such as bamboo, FSC Certified* wood products, engineered lumber, Structurally Insulated Panels (SIP) for exterior walls and roofs and low to no Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints and adhesives.

What separates Earth Bound Homes from many of the contractors in the Bay Area is not our outstanding quality or our open and honest approach to our interactions with clients.
